Kleenex forced to rebrand 'Mansize' tissues after sexist complaints

After being on shelves for more than 60 years, Kleenex maker Kimberly Clark said it will re-brand its “Mansize” tissues after a rise in consumer complaints cried the product was sexist.

But wait...

One user tweeted that her four year old son was confused by the ‘Mansize’ name and asked if he was allowed to use them.



My GOD!!!

Anyway, Kleenex was not "forced" to do anything - they *chose* to do it. Which of course is fine. And now I can use their tissues without having a gender identity crisis.

You think there's hope, then idiocy like this comes along. Best response would have been the science of nose size by gender, which you can be damn sure is out there. Want to be a good social media response complete with links and charts would not only have gained them huge social cred, but most likely an increase in sales.

I really think these people make that stuff up. Geez, Thing2 was only 3-4 yo when he would see Batboy in those supermarket rags while we waited in line to pay. He would love to look at the front page to see what Batboys was up to next. I always joke that Batboy helped teach him how to read. Still - at 4 yo, even he didn't believe that stupid stuff!
