Castro, who is a member of the House intelligence committee, went on to claim that this “hit list” contained the name of Jamal Khashoggi — a columnist for The Washington Post whom the Turkish government claims was killed in a Saudi consulate.
“The reporting that Jared Kushner may have, with U.S. intelligence, delivered a ‘hit list,’ an ‘enemies list’ to the crown prince, to MBS, in Saudi Arabia, and that the prince may have acted on that, and one of the people he took action against was Mr. Khashoggi,”
“I just want to be clear for our viewers, we do not have that reporting,” CNN’s Poppy Harlow said. “I’m not sure where you’re getting that from.”
Castro pushed back, insisting that he’s “seen reporting to that effect,” but did not cite any of it.
