Trump directly attacks Fed Chairman Powell, saying 'Obama had zero' interest rates

President Donald Trump directly accused Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell of endangering the U.S. economy by raising interest rates, according to The Wall Street Journal.

"I'm just saying this: I'm very unhappy with the Fed because Obama had zero interest rates," Trump told the Journal on Tuesday. "Every time we do something great, he raises the interest rates."

The president said Powell "almost looks like he's happy raising interest rates," but declined to elaborate, according to the Journal.

"How the hell do you compete with that? And Obama — remember this, it's very important — Obama had zero interest," the president told the Journal on Tuesday.

What a complete buffoon! Doesn't he know that rising interest rates mean the economy is healthy? Doesn't he know that low interest rates means the economy is sick? Doesn't he know that the Fed having interest rates pegged at zero for seven freaking years means the economy almost died???

Oh...and just to take his ignorance and utter stupidity one step farther. Why is he crying like a baby about the interest rates during the Obama administration. GDP sucked during that period according to all the economic geniuses on here and Trump himself. So WTF is Trump trying to say? (Here's a hint: it is what every real economist has been telling you since last December...any bump in GDP we got from the tax cuts was a short term boost. Q2 was likely a high point.)
