The scene here is of the “two witnesses” as they are given new “life” and exalted in the sight of their enemies. An earthquake follows and kills 7 thousand (men) in Jerusalem alone. This does not include women and children!
(1) Unfortunately Rev. 16:11 tell us that they "blaspheme the God of heaven" once again as they begin to experience His Judgments again.
(2) There is a lot of difference in being "sorry" and truly repentant!
(3) The 14th verse gives us a clue to the human heart: Revelation 11:14 The second woe is past. Behold, the third woe is coming quickly. (NKJV)
a) Imagine the terror of those rejoicing in their pompous belief that there is no God, when the dead bodies of the 2 witnesses begin to move, then stand up!!!

Well, this part hasn't happened on TV. I figure that's how we'll witness this.... it'll go live... a lot like the time the news broke and we saw our president slump over in a car while his wife tried to escape..... a lot like that time when the news broke to show helicopters airlifting people out of Vietnam at the end of that era.......a lot like that time the news broke in to show us two buildings with planes sticking out of them...... I'm sure if it were to happen today... people would walk around screaming fake news... but wait... this is after all those seals have been opened and there's probably no power for the TV.... wouldn't it be wild if all the TV's suddenly powered up and showed the witnesses being called up and then went black afterward.... God probably won't do it that way...
After all.... we are not familiar with dead people suddenly getting up..... we are not familiar with the sound of a heavenly voice booming.... we are not familiar with the site of two men floating in air.... rising.... rising... disappear.... it has to be computer generated graphics..... dead people only walk when there's computer generated graphics, lots of make up.... and plenty of smoke and mirrors.... it just doesn't happen.... it's impossible.... maybe that's why the earthquake comes immediately after the removal of those two witnesses. It's like a punctuation mark.... like a "go ahead continue on about your stupid human ways.... and see what happens to you" punctuation mark.
