TMZ reported Tuesday that Kim Kardashian and Kanye West paid for private firefighters to protect their $60 million home in Hidden Hills, California, after the couple evacuated the home under mandatory state orders. The firefighters were reportedly successful in saving the home.

I have a feeling that home was not in a great deal of trouble anyway.
Set in the middle of huge homes with large yards they were none of them surrounded by a great deal of underbrush.
Perhaps some errant spark may have set the roof on fire and maybe they sprayed the roof, I expect they would have been fine without the Insurance Company Firefighters.

I could be wrong , but when the fire is rocking and rolling toward you in an area filled with brush and trees, no Firefighters no matter how good they are have any real effect.

O hope they do. You build a house out in the chapparal, the least you can do is to pay someone to harden it against wildfire.

It's for the most part the insurance companies that contract the fire protection work.
