Michael Cohen’s Sentencing Memorandum Is A Roadmap For Indicting Trump

The prosecutors say that payments Cohen caused to be made to two women who say they had extramarital affairs with Trump were “in coordination with and at the direction of” Trump. (Trump denies that these alleged affairs occurred, and says he did not know about the payments when they occurred.) The SDNY’s sentencing memo thus implicates Trump in at least three crimes.

Michael Cohen’s Sentencing Memorandum Is A Roadmap For Indicting Trump

For Christ's sake indict the man, and stop with the accusations every day.
Indict him and get beaten in court and let's get on with the important business of America.
Put up or shut TF up.

They can't indict him, as there is nothing for which they can indict.

But, they can use phrases like "Nixonian" and "unindicted co-conspirator" and people who have no idea will think that Trump did something substantially wrong.

Gee: I heard they could indict a ham sandwich. Trump is a bit of a ham.

Let’s pin this conversation until the investigation is over shall we. You didn’t complain about the length of the Benghazi investigation did you?

So here’s the thing, you say you didn’t vote for Trump for his honesty, faithfulness to his wife, honesty when paying his taxes or running his business’s. So if you know all that about his past behavior why do you keep insisting it would be impossible for him to have engaged in similar dishonest behavior with Russia? And why are you so insistent the investigation be stopped rather than sitting back with the confidence of knowing he did nothing wrong and he will be exhonerated?

Accusations about Trump:
1) The Insistence from Progressives has been 'Trump is compromised / subject to Russian Blackmail'
2) Trump Colluded With Russian's To Steal The Election
3) Trump Paid off a could of Porn Stars to keep quiet [opinion wither this violates Campaign Finance Laws or not]

lets break down your details

1) All Politicians Lie ... [Trump is a Blowhard and a Braggart So What - Obama Spent 8 yrs LYING to Americans ]
2) People Cheat on their Taxes [Tim Geithner owed 42k 36 Obama Admin White House Aids Owed $ 833,000 Culture of Corruption: Obama and His Team of Tax Cheats, Crooks, and Cronies ]
3) Men Cheat on Their Wives - Clinton did, Edwards Did, Hart Did [nobody accused them of being 'Subject to Blackmail']
4) What about Trump Running his Businesses ? [more accusation about Trump Uni ? show where TRUMP was defrauding people - yeah he licensed his name, that does not mean he was involved in operations]

If you know all that about his past behavior why do you keep insisting Trump is guilty of the things detailed in the Steele Dossier, just because he did 'things' in the past.

Why is it so difficult to believe the Dossier [paid for by Hilllary] was a political hit piece full of lies and innuendo .... that Obama Administration Officials conspired to sabotage the incoming Trump Administration ... engaging in Illegal FISA Wiretaps, illegally leaking of information on Flynn .... etc

YOU Don't want to believe it because it does not fit YOUR World View ....
honestly if you would just step back and let Trump alone, he steps on his crank enough you have legit reasons to complain
but no, Progressives cannot leave well enough alone, you have to tear the country apart trying to run the man from office, because Americans in the Fly Over States had the temerity to defy your gal Hillary the White House

What the hell kind of verbal diarrhea is that? Go back and read it and see if it makes sense even to you

You attack Obama out of nowhere then claim Dems keep attacking Trump
Out of nowhere. You admit all his shady past dealing but say that there is a limit and working with RUSSIA to win the election is somehow the time when Trump and his cronies would find their morals and decline to break the law. Why rules have never stopped him his entire life. Why would he start right then?

only someone as myopic as you would say its an attack on Obama out of no where ....

you make statements about Trump like he the 1st elected official in the history of America to Lie, Cheat On Taxes / Wives

'why do you support Trump he does all these evil things' impugning anyone that voted for or speaks positively about Trump

I pointed out you are spewing nonsense as usual because many politicians have been guilty of the items you clutch your pearls over

Yes that’s true but that doesn’t excuse Trump. He is the president and should be held to a higher standard and should face consequences for his actions and no sitting president has ever been named as a coconspirator in two felonies. That’s a bit different than a lie or misspeaking about something but as usual you don’t care

so you admit Obama was a liar :yay:

He is the president and should be held to a higher standard and should face consequences for his actions

When was Obama or Clinton held to these mystical higher standards

Obama ran guns to Mexico resulting in the death of a Border Patrol Agent and others
Used the IRS as a Political Weapon against Groups He did not Like

Clinton as a Supervisor aka the Boss, was involved sexually with a subordinate employee in his office - that violates Federal Fraternization Policy
quickly leading to sexual harassment claims

and no sitting president has ever been named as a co-conspirator in two felonies.

So What .... a Matter of LEGAL Opinion

so far the DA for the Southern District of NY is of the OPINION he has a CASE ... a case he has to make in Court
you can cheer and salivate rubbing your hands together laughing manically at Trump's Misfortune but the fact Individual-1 was named a co conspirator is worth about as much as the paper it was printed on

Cohen is a Lair, a tax cheat and guilty of other crimes ... we should now suddenly believe he is telling the Truth

“Falsus in uno, falsus in omnibus,”

In My Humble Opinion Cohen would say anything to minimize his pending Jail Time for Tax Fraud

As For The DA for the SDNY his case all hinges on PROVING Intent ...

was Trumps payment to his lawyer a Campaign Contribution [did the money come from Campaign Funds or Trumps Personal Account]

Trump Intended to 'influence the election' hiding his affair

- a spurious claim at best considering Trump, his life as someone 3 times divorced
- would have the news of the 12 yr old affair changed the minds of Potential Trump Voters after 'pussy grabbing' audio had already leaked

Name Any Other politician Convicted and Jailed for Campaign Finance Violations

Your Boy Obama paid a 375k fine on $ 2 mil in irregularities

Mueller’s Got Nothing

Sane and serious commentators such as Andy McCarthy, former assistant U.S. attorney (and a friend), and law professor Jonathan Turley are more concerned about the finding by the U.S. attorney in Manhattan that the president, before his election, ordered Cohen to violate election-financing statutes, in paying off the aggrieved claimants to long-past alleged sexual relationships with Mr. Trump: Stormy Daniels and Karen McDougal. Since this is so far out of Mueller’s field of investigation, he handed it off to the U.S. attorney in New York’s Southern District. One of the president’s senior counsel, Rudolph Giuliani, said or implied months ago that the threats of the two women (rather refreshing personalities, from what the public has seen of them) and the settlements, both in response to blackmail attempts that were breaches of contract, were paid by Cohen and repaid by Trump in the normal course of paying unitemized legal billings from Cohen.

What makes the Southern District’s U.S. attorney leap to (all of) his feet, snarling and snapping and with dreams of publicity and political sugar plums dancing in his head in the manner of many American prosecutors, is that as part of his plea bargain, Cohen claimed that the payments to the two women were illegal campaign contributions, as they were made to spare candidate Trump embarrassment in the last phase of the 2016 election, and that Trump knew about them. This has invited and created the inference in the Trump-hating media that the president is an unindicted co-conspirator. That he may be so in the mind of an American prosecutor carries no more weight than did the opinions of a few flaky West Coast federal judges last year that Trump had no right to exercise his constitutional prerogative of controlling entry by foreigners into the United States.

The $130,000 Stormy Daniels payoff: Was it a campaign expenditure?

Would Cohen have paid Daniels anyway?

The central legal question is whether Cohen paid Daniels to help Trump’s campaign, or to help Trump. Experts agreed that the most significant consequences hinge on this point.

The Federal Election Commission rules examine this through the lens of whether campaign funds have been put to personal use; the commission applies something called the Irrespective Test. The law says that something is personal if it’s "any commitment, obligation, or expense of a person that would exist irrespective of the candidate’s election campaign."

By that standard, said Emory School of Law professor Michael Kang, "the circumstances and context here are suspicious," but it’s no slam-dunk that the payment was an expenditure on behalf of the campaign.

"Daniels herself has said that years before Trump declared for president, she was threatened about not disclosing any affair, suggesting, if she's telling the truth, that her silence was desired long before Trump became a candidate," Smith said.

Hillary paid for the political dirty trick of the Russian Collusion scandal.
Hillary and washerwoman arranged for Bernie to lose the Primary.

If anyone illegally interfered with an election and received illegal campaign funds and then used them illegally it was Hillary Clinton.

With the obeisance and coordination of Barrack Hussein Obama, who illegally and with malice and forethought sought to spy on the Republican candidate.
A much bigger scandal than Watergate that was ignored because they are democrats and she a woman, and he a black man.

Both above the law.
