The "Rule of Law" finds a defender...finally

Yesterday's Flynn court hearing was a triumph for the rule of law in this country.

Finally, finally somebody stood up for the US judicial system. Finally some one stood up for this nation's credibility. Our POS President spends a large portion of his day pissing on our justice system. All the self proclaimed Patriots on here (and our Russian comrade propagandist) spend their days pissing on our judicial system. The entire right wing media led by Fox "News" spend most of their gigs, ink and airtime devoted to trashing our system of justice.

One might expect that from the far left freaks who think we should live in a lawless society.

One would not expect this conduct from the very same people who claim to be standard bearers for the "rule of law" while they are pissing all over our justice system.

For some reason all these people have turned their back on their beliefs. For what? To support a President who has lied to them at every turn and about everything. He isn't worth the money he tells you he is. He was actively working with the Russian govt on real estate deals while running for President. He knew every detail of the payoffs to the women because he made the decisions. He created the false story about the meeting in Trump Tower.

So yesterday a judge forced Michael Flynn and his attorneys to admit, in open court, that Flynn was not entrapped and that he knew lying to the FBI was a crime.

The Fox "News" propaganda story that was peddled and believed by all the conspiracy nuts, cultists and morons on here was laid bare for what it was...complete and utter bullsh!t.

The President is a consummate liar. He has largely surrounded himself with consummate liars, the ethically challenged and the downright corrupt. He hasn't done one thing to drain the swamp. He has filled it to overflowing, added heat and all manner of insects.

But you all keep right on blindly supporting a man who demands loyalty from all and in return gives you none in return.

You are now free to respond with your pathetic claims of how informed you are and how every major news source is a left wing puppet of George Soros...which, of course, simply proves the point of your ignorance.

I believe Michael Flynn had stated that before he got to court, when he pled guilty.

Most every defense lawyer would disagree that he was not entrapped. That "lying to the FBI is a crime" was never in question.

I rarely if ever find delayed justice a "triumph". If what he did is so heinous as to say they "amount to treason", and the judge says, "so go home now"? THAT is what you call a triumph?

Why was the FBI conducting an interview asking questions to answers the FBI already had ...
Why did the FBI NOT tell Flynn they were conducting an Investigation, that Flynn may wish to have his lawyer present

https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/...usations-mar-michael-flynn-sentencing-hearing

Flynn admitted lying to the FBI. He repeated that admission in court before Sullivan. But documents from the bureau's investigation made clear that FBI official Peter Strzok and a second, still-publicly-unidentified agent who interviewed Flynn did not believe he had lied to them.

"Strzok and [redacted] both had the impression at the time that Flynn was not lying or did not think he was lying," said an an FBI document from August 2017, based on an interview with Strzok.

It is worth noting that the agents had a wiretap transcript of Flynn's conversation with the Russian ambassador when they questioned Flynn. And even with that, they came away with the impression that he wasn't lying.

Yeah, here's what got buried because they want to hide it from you mindless psychopaths:

https://www.washingtonpost.com/poli...e78382-02f1-11e9-b5df-5d3874f1ac36_story.html

At one point, Sullivan accused Flynn of acting as “an unregistered agent of a foreign country, while serving as the national security adviser to the president of the United States.” After a recess, the judge apologized for that assertion, acknowledging that lobbying work Flynn did to benefit Turkey ended before he joined the Trump administration.

Sullivan also demanded to know from prosecutor Brandon Van Grack whether Flynn could have been charged with treason.

Van Grack appeared to try to sidestep the question. He apologized to the judge, saying he didn’t want to misspeak about the case but that he believed the most he could say was that the special counsel did not consider such a charge “based on the evidence that the government had at the time.”

Later, Van Grack told the judge that prosecutors did not believe Flynn committed treason.

Sorry, babe - Fox got it right and it's your handlers who know you won't read past the headline. This judge was out of line and had to be corrected BY THE PROSECUTION.

They judge didn't say go home now. The judge is weighing sending him to prison despite Mueller asking him to show leniency for his cooperating testimony.

What's your point you psychopath? Does that excuse him lying to the FBI and selling out our country?

Except the part where he didn't "sell out our country". The judge made that up and later apologized. You are such a product of your brainwashing MSNBC media that you scare me.

See, here's what pisses me off:

I really don't give a crap about Michael Flynn. He either broke the law or he didn't, it has nothing to do with me.

Unfortunately I am forced into caring when the lying bull#### leftwing Trump hating media spins and hides and "reports" #### that either didn't happen or they leave stuff out or they sensationalize something that they retract later in the story. THAT is what I care about - the so-called news media lying and spinning.

This has happened so much over the last two years that CNN, WashPo, NYT, and other former major news outlets have destroyed themselves, and their audience is down to a handful of mental cases.

We shoudn't have to run down the damn news ourselves. THAT is what they are for, and that is ALL they are for - to report the news. If we have to do it ourselves, why do they still have jobs?

The judge apologized about one aspect he got wrong.

That doesn't excuse or erase Flynns other actions

Yeah yeah.

I'm done giving you attention today.

Classic. I showed you why you your example was irrelevant to the overall evidence and guilt of Flynn so you no longer want to engage in discussion.

Just like everything else when you are proven wrong or don't agree with something you ignore it which is why you still support a criminal lunatic as our president.

Yes. And she was wrong in her assessment that because the judge misspoke about one thing ( which he apologized for) that that somehow makes Flynns crimes acceptable or more palatable.

Which is exactly what I said so thanks for unnecassarily recapping the situation Captain Obvious

These people get stuck on stupid. They say something; you refute it and show them evidence that what they are saying is not true; they call you a few names and make their original statement again. It's programming, plain and simple. Then they get all splodey when people like me get bored with their mindless repetition.

Who asked for the stay? HINT: It wasn't the judge.

Where is Flynn? HINT: it's not jail.

Thus, the judge said, "go home now." If you read the sentence prior to the one about going home, I used the phrase "delayed justice" and said that's not a triumph.

Reading is your friend!
