Made soup tonight from bits of Christmas dinner and stuff from the cupboard.

1# shredded turkey, 1# cooked navy beans, 1/2 c sautéed onion, 1 tsp black pepper, 1/2 tsp salt, 1 qt turkey stock, 1 qt water, 1 dash Worcestershire sauce, 2 c uncooked ditalini

Mix everything but the ditalini and bring to a boil in a 4 qt saucepan. Turn down heat and let simmer 20 minutes. Turn back to a boil, add in the ditalina and cook 10 minutes. Serve with a sprinkle of shredded Cheddar.

Yum.

One of the things I miss about Southern Maryland is stuffed ham. I'm not even from that place, but I crave the local delicacy. Leftover stuffed hamd makes the best soup and omelet filling.
