President Donald Trump's former "fixer" Michael Cohen said Thursday that he paid the head of a small technology company thousands in 2015 to rig online polls at "the direction of and for the sole benefit of" Trump.

Cohen was responding to a report in The Wall Street Journal that he paid John Gauger, the owner of RedFinch Solutions LLC, between $12,000 and $13,000 for activities related to Trump's campaign, including "trying unsuccessfully to manipulate two online polls in Mr. Trump's favor" and creating a Twitter account called "@WomenForCohen" that "praised (Cohen's) looks and character, and promoted his appearances and statements boosting" Trump's candidacy.
In making the claim, Gauger told the paper he wasn't fully paid for the work, though the Journal said Cohen was reimbursed $50,000 -- the amount the two originally agreed on for Gauger's services -- by the Trump Organization. Gauger, according to the paper, also received a boxing glove "worn by a Brazilian mixed-martial arts fighter" along with the cash payment.

During the campaign, at Cohen’s request, Gauger also had a female friend of his set up the Twitter account @WomenForCohen to create the impression that the attorney enjoyed popular female support.

“Women who love and support Michael Cohen. Strong, pit bull, sex symbol, no nonsense, business oriented and ready to make a difference!” the account’s bio reads.

Cohen acknowledges rigging polls for Trump in 2014 and 2015

Technology company owner John Gauger told The Wall Street Journal that Cohen promised him $50,000 for work including using computers to enter fake votes for Trump in a 2014 CNBC poll asking people to identify top business leaders and a 2015 poll of potential presidential candidates. Gauger says Cohen paid him about a quarter of the money in cash, then stiffed him on the rest.

yeah that is Worthy of News .......... nothing DIRECTLY Election Related

If he paid someone to slant a poll in Trumps favor he sure did a sh*tty job of getting it done.

The polls were for Hillary right up until the news TV media specialists started crying and screaming NO NO it can't be happening.

Truth here:

Does anyone look at a poll and change their mind about something? I know there's a lot of monkey-see-monkey-do with humans, but seriously: how many of you had an opinion on something, then changed your mind when you saw a poll saying a majority of people have an opposite opinion?

So if a rapist doesn't succeed he shouldn't be prosecuted for attempted rape? What about attempted murder?

What's that got to do with anything? What laws did Cohen break? Be specific..it is your claim after all.

Well, Slick Willy hasn't been. Nor has he been prosecuted for the ones he carried out successfully.
Neither has Keith Ellison....oh wait...he just assaults women.
How about Al Green? That's right!! The taxpayers were stuck with paying off his victim.
Shall we go on...and on and on Sadpussi?...Because you know I can.

And to think...YOU were the best your daddy had to offer...quite sad, really...

An ONLINE POLL? Please. Online polls are useless. On a good day, the best they'll gauge is the opinion of the typical website visitor.
When Hannity has a quick viewer poll of something, it doesn't mean anything except what his viewers think.

It's why no one uses online polling for anything.

What a load of crap this is.
