This time of year brings joy and happiness to many. We spend time with family and friends. We eat too much; some drink too much, and we celebrate Christmas and a new year. It is a wonderful time of year for many.
For some, it is a time of loneliness and depression because of divorce, loss of someone dear, or other circumstances. I would like to remind all of us that God told Joshua, "I will never leave you nor forsake you." ( Joshua 1:5 ), or, as the Lord told his disciples, "I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you." (John 14:18). God is always available to hear your pleas. He will hear and comfort you.
I encourage those that are Christians to look to help someone who is hurting. I encourage those that are hurting to seek God and His representative to you this season.
