Donating Computer?

Does anybody know where I can donate my computer in St. Mary's County?

It has pretty current software, OS is MS 2000, MS Office pfg., etc.

I think CMC is in need of one. PM her a little later, the local library doesn't open until 9am.

Goodwill in Waldorf MAY still accept them. When we moved down here, we donated our old PC in Frederick, and it had to be less than 5 years old I believe for them to take it.

Smartco in Great Mills takes donations of computers, refurbishes them and then donates them to local charities and schools.

Definitely!! Smartco used to get all the excess we could give them from PAXR. Not sure how much they are getting now with NMCI in place....

Another place would be Leonard Hall in Leonardtown. When my son went there they were always in need. The head mistress is Suzanne Youngson (now married.. so her name has changed).
