As many as 3,000 Bush supporters gathered Saturday near the President’s Central Texas ranch in a show of support for the administration and for the war in Iraq.

Rallies and vigils were held in several places.

Darn good to see those folks out in numbers supporting OUR President!

Fox had a bit on this a little while ago; they said the pro-Bush folks outnumbered the Sheehanites 2:1.

Bush supporters, in response, produced their own ad this week featuring Louis Qualls’ father Gary, who accuses Sheehan of cruelty and challenges her to a debate.
I would buy tickets to that debate!

A couple days back Sheehan was questioned by a reporter, "What would you say to the Iraqis who want us there?" She said (paraphrased), "I would say that we don't need to be there. We can work this out. We have messed up their country enough." She then immediately walked away. I can only dream of how wickedly she would be slaughtered if she attempted an actual debate.

There are respectable people who have presented formidable arguments against the course (not necessarily the cause, mind you) of the war, but Sheehan is not representative of either point. And still she remains the darling of this movement... strikingly revealing.

Cindy Sheehan is a puppet - nothing more.

Yes, I agree that there's a time to grieve for a lost son, resulting from this war on Terrorism, time that can't be measured, but - she's long past that pretense.

Smearing GW Bush, calling him a murderer, a Nazi, directly blaming him for her son's death is way past the tenets of ethics. She is being spoon-fed what to say by far-left interests, and she's plainly just a mouthpiece for organizations like MoveOn.org, and Michael Moore, etc.

I'm sorry, but I think she is pitiful to watch.
