What is up with that?

The 2 stations are 101.1, one is talk and the other is crap.

Hmmm, that is strange, I am listening to DC101 online and its fine, besides the fact that they were just playing prince.

During my morning drive, I can pick up Elliott's show on both DC101 and 102 The X, and I listen to whichever station has the best signal that morning. This morning, reception on both was terrible.

Also, sometimes in the evening I can get a hard rock station out of Hampton Roads on 100.5. They frequently play Metallica from the pre-Black Album era.

This area gets a lot of thermal inversions during the summer that ducts radio broadcasts from other areas but blocks out closer stations. It's the same phenomenon that makes the Eastern Shore seem to float in the air. :nerd:
