Help! County Wetlands Info

I'm curious as to what laws protect wetlands in the county. Can you build on them? Where can I find the rules?

Anyone in Planning and Zoning will be able to fill you in on the specifics but in general if you mess with wetlands your in deep doo doo.

Yeah no crap! If you got a puddle in your yard that won't dry up you've got wetlands! Don't let the Greenies find out or they'll be camping out in your driveway making sure you don't kill the mosquito larvai by building a Gazebo on top of the wetlands!

If this is your "next door neighbor", be sure it is actually wetlands and not lousy drainage.
