The problem is, most don't have tall trees, 12-15 ft, anymore. Wind up buying at Wentworth. Have two story foyer where we put the tree, looks nice, but hard to handle and we only see it when we go out to look at it. visible from parlor and dining room, but not family room.

This is the farm we went to last year. It was huge and had a very nice selection. There were a few that weren't tall enough for my liking, but I'm sure they are perfect this year. We will most likely go back there again this year.

Have you done this before?

We used to cut our tree in a place over by Budd's Creek, but I think it is closed. It is a tradition in our family.

Lookin for Margaritaville
Has anyone gone to any of the farms yet to cut their own tree ? What are the prices like ? I just hate to spend a small fortune on a tree that will only be around for a few weeks ... but real trees are so nice

My Sweetest Boy
Which farm did you go to Cattitude ? Thats a great price for an 8 footer !

Not a farm, a private guy, but open to the public. We've gone to him for a long time. The place is for sale so he's not planting any more trees. There aren't many smaller than 8 foot and many more that are taller....all $35.

I go to the Lowe's Farm. Take a right at the BK ranch just past the first pier.

I see you're hitting the sauce a little early tonight. :otter:

I've been thinking about getting a real tree this year - the first time in many years. Thanks for the info!
