Dr. Neibauer - What's up with the new office manager in Prince Frederick?

We've been going to Neibauer's clinic for about a year in Prince Frederick. Love the Doctors, HATE the new office manager. Aside from the fact it now feels like a prison in there, the woman must get a commission! She'd turn you upside down to shake a nickle out of you. It's feels like a total shake down everytime you go in the place. I even heard her tell one patient that she couldn't leave the office until he paid for service; the kid was like 17 RIDICUOUS! This woman is the perfect example of rude!

Even worse, she interrupts patients to screach at the staff while you're in the chair. I've even heard her yelling at the docs and hygenistis. Shame on you! I have had three visits in three months due to orthodontic work. It's pretty miserable in there. I hope we can say goodbye to her soon. Think her name is Nicky. Anyone else have this experience? We're thinking about leaving the practice.

Hi, I am glad someone else feels this way. A few months ago I went in to get a tooth pulled. While in the chair waiting for the dentist she come in and said, the dr. really feels he can save this tooth by doing a root canel. I told her I wasnt interested, I dont have dental insurance and do not have over 2,000.00 to pay for this. She said well we are all about preventative maintence and we would rather save the tooth than pull it. I told her if they were so into saving the tooth than give me the root canel for the price of pulling a tooth and I would consider. She kepy going and going talking about saving the tooth. I finally told her I was appauled by her pushy ness and if I was not in pain from a tooth ache I would get up and walk out. I havent been back and will find a new dentist in the area before I go back there.

I don't recall the name of the dentist I took my daughter to recently but they did the same thing. If I could afford the route canel I would do it they were also very pushy. I started to get mad but I couldn't leave because my daughter was in a lot of pain. They were located in Waldorf near Thomas Stone HS.

To the person who called me an idiot and baffoon....

Thanks for the charming remark. Guess customer service isn't your thing. She may be "doing her job" but being rude and bullying people gets you nowhere. There is absolutely no reason to treat people disrespectfully. Yelling at a kid is ridiculous and interrupting the patient while under treatment is unacceptable. And to call me an idiot for posting my opinion gets you nowhere.

I starting going there a while ago and the girls out front were sweet. I went in to get my teeth cleaned a month ago and was accosted by this woman after my appointment. The other girl was basically behind her computer screen. Here's what went down...... after getting my teetch clean, I went to check out and make an appointment for a filling. OK so, our insurance covers cleaning and floride treatments, no copay. Well, she wouldn't let me leave or make an appointment until I made a copay, even though my dental card says no copay. She told me, if there isn't a copay, I[ll credit your account. All she had to do was look at the card. It was only 10 or 20 bucks but the way she talked to me was really mean and really unprofessional. When I went back for the filling, I heard her talking to one of the hyjenists like they were trash. They must pay her for bringing in the bucks. I don't know the woman's name but she has brown curly hair and glasses. I called to complain but no one called me back. We aren't going back.

I'm with you calvertfool. I can't believe Neibauer's office manager (aka Nazi Witch) either! She takes rudeness to the next level. Like you, I think the dentists are great, but with the kind of money I've spent in that place, I expect to be treated with respect AND I expect the office staff to conduct themselves in a polite and courteous manner. Whoever said the Nazi Witch is "just doing her job" needs a reality check. Her job is exactly what she's NOT doing. She's supposed to be providing a useful service to Neibauer's patients, yet instead of that, she's driving patients away.

I have heard this woman scream at other staff members AND use a tone with patients that is deplorable. Last time I looked, spending money in a place makes me a CUSTOMER and it's my hard earned money that essentially pays the salary of this person who, at every opportunity, treats those around her like dirt under her feet. I also am looking for a new dentist for myself and my family. It's hard to do, once you are happy with the actual dental services, to make that kind of change, but the demeanor of this woman is mean, controlling and spiteful. Going to the dentist is stressful enough without adding that kind of negativity to the experience. And to harass a teenager...well, God help her if she ever says anything disrespectful to one of MY kids!

Wow! All the new posters harassing one woman. What did she do? Break up with someone?

I wonder if it is more.

Heck, my daughter and I both LIKE to go to the dentist and if one of the staff spoke to me in such a manner, I would be first in line to tell the Dentist. I have been going to him for 10+ years and I think he would be happy to know his staff was that difficult.

The complainers need to grow a backbone.
