I decanted 2 older quaffs this evening.

The 1st is an Apricot mead I made in July 2006.

The 2nd is a Moscato I made in October 2010.

Both are brilliantly clear, have no off odors and taste good.
I keep them store in Cornelius kegs under 15 pounds pressure CO2.

We are awash in homemade wine every year; my bro-in-law down in the hills of southern VA is a skilled wine maker and keeps the family well stocked. Persimmon, muscadine, pear, blackberry, etc...all good.

We had Concorde grapes growing on the fence for 50 years, the guy across the street from us has made wine from them every year. It is the worst wine ever, Concorde grapes are not wine grapes and he’s not good at it. He gives my parents a gallon of it every year.
