Roasted green bell peppers

I just got done blistering the skins of 3 peppers. After they cooled, I peeled them. Threw out the core & seeds. Then tossed them with olive oil, chopped garlic & salt. Letting them marinate for a while. They will make a tasty snack on some Italian bread.

You can buy the red peppers already roasted in a jar. But I prefer to do my own. Once they are ready, they go perfect on an Italian meat sub sandwich along with the lettuce, tomato & onion.

Time to toast up some bread slices.
