Cruise Sets Sail 11 Days - Possibly Broken Ankle

Does anyone know of any restrictions on Carnival Cruise lines for broken ankle - cast/crutches? My daughter has a sprained ankle - so far- go to orthopedic Dr. today to see what they say. ER could have missed a break - we're 9 days into this and she still cannot put any weight on that foot. Have the insurance if we need to cancel, but she is extremely devastated if we have to cancel. Just trying to weigh all the options...if cruising w/ cast is even option - cruise line restrictions for in/out of pool and waterslides with a cast. Right now, she's air cast and crutches. ANy thoughts? i'm all for waiting until she's healed 100% and can actually enjoy herself more....

Thanks much - i just called them too... duh..didnt think of that. just thought i'd see if anyone had experience with having to deal with this sort of issue. Carnival said she's good to go with a cast too - no prohibitions against watersliding/using pool with a cast. NOW, if we can just get her walking... then we'll decide if we should just wait and go another time. We're going with a rather large group and all her best buds from school are going too - so she's really wanting to go anyways... we shall see. I see money wasted in a sense, but the rescheduled cruise wont have all her buds on it either. Time will tell - i have til day of departure to cancel thanks to that trip insurance i bought!!

GO GO GO... She will be fine.. she is a tough she can handle it and will have fun. Besides I want your opinions on the cruise I am booking one when we get home from this trip.
