Xbox has way more games then the PS3 and most games that come to PS3 also go to Xbox 360.

Also, they are making a BR add on for the 360 that will be out eventually.

I can play my PS2 games on the PS3.

What about the problems they have with the 360's? Heard they burn up after a year or so and you end up buying another.

My son has the 80 PS3 and he is able to play his PS2 games on it. Graphics are great.

That's what my son wants for Christmas. A PS3, but if they can't play PS2 games on them, I told him to forget it and get an xbox360. But since they can play the PS2 games on them, he gets a PS3.

The 80 gig can still play PS2 games (the 20, 40, and 60 gig ones can not) (unless you got them early).

they fixed that and added in a free warrenty against it ever happening again.

(why sony decided to make this so hard on buyers is beyond me)

(nintendo and microsoft made it easy in that ALL games from the previous system are playable)

He bought it a few months ago. Saved all his Christmas money, birthday money and yard work money for a year. Bought the damn thing and now cant afford to buy the games for it.
