What Has Become of the Newton?

I bought some strawberry Newton cookies the other day, and it was the first time in about three or four years that I had any. I was shocked when I opened the package and saw that the cookies are now about 1/2 the size they used to be. What a disappointment.

They only did that so they could fit more in the package.

Fig Newtons are the best cookie

If the weight of the package is the same then cookie size doesn't matter. Fig Newtons used to come in a #1 package and the fru-fru variety was only 12oz.

I noticed that my Pop Tarts in the vending machine are smaller too! It's the Aliens again isn't it!!! They're trying to starve us!!!
