Cranberry Sauce

I have never made cranberry sauce before, always just opened a can and plopped it on a plate...how do you make?

One bag of cranberries, cleaned and picked over for stems.

One cup of sugar.

One cup of water.

Simmer until the berries pop. Cool, then serve.

I made this Cranberry-Orange sauce last year. It was pretty good...but I'd add more sugar than the recipe calls for. :lol:

Though I throw it in a crock pot so I'm not taking up stove space. I also mess around and add other things as I feel like it - a little orange juice, some fresh mint, etc. But the above is very basic very easy.
