Thinking about firing up...

an ftp server to share files. Mainly music (mp3s). I am big into sharing\trading music. Would anyone be interested in downloading and possibly uploading stuff I dont have. If so I will start putting all the hardware and software in place. I have a 60 GB HD just sitting around doing nothing. I would even post apps so you could rip and burn your own CDs, providing yoiu have a burner of course...

damn its too big.. oh well.

Just be sure the mp3s aren't copyrighted... the RIAA is cracking down hard on music sharing... Bunch of tools

I would not make it a public FTP but a private one, prolly keep it closed except to ppl in the forum. You would need a login. The RIAA, is going to start with KAZAA and some of the other sharing interfaces. I havent heard anything about FTP's yet.
Of course you should only download and evaluate for 24 hours then you should delete the files.
