Tele-marketing consumer interface relations

A job centre in Germany has launched an investigation after a woman was sent for a job interview with a phone sex agency.

Daniela Pielorz, 32, had been told she had been found work in the "tele-marketing consumer interface relations" industry.

But she said she was "shocked" when her prospective boss told her what she would have to do at work.

She said: "He told me I had to answer the phone and moan a lot while men said filthy things to me, and that I was supposed to keep moaning and egg them on so as to run up the charges on their phone bills.

"I was absolutely shocked and told him in no uncertain terms what he could do with the job."

A spokesman for the federal employment office in Hildesheim said: "We had no way of knowing that this job offer might be of a morally reprehensible nature, and in fact, it sounded quite legitimate.

"We shall be looking more closely in future into the sorts of positions we are being asked to fill."
