Pricing for Disney World?

Does anyone know of any good discounts going on for Disney World in Orlando? Maybe on base or at a park & recs place. Im just trying to get the best price for the park and hotels.

When my dad brings my lil' brother and sister down there, he swears it's cheaper to stay in a hotel off the park grounds. I dont know if this is true, but I would think you could get some kind of package deal thru Disney?? vrai?????

Thanks but I looked at some of the package deals with hotels and they were like in the grands. However I did find hopper passes and hotel rooms starting in the $30 range. Im trying to see what the base has to offer... but I dont have the number Sometimes they are cheaper in advance.
