Has anyone heard anything good or bad about these types of AC units?

I have an old 2 story Beach house that I would like to add central heat and air. The ceilings are low on the 1st floor. The duct work would be a pain to add so this Mr. Slim looks like it may do the trick. Thought I would see if anyone knows how good it works or if it is really not that good.
