Livin' Like Thanksgivin'
Just ran across some of these.
I really like them. The first is my favorite.

Other men said they have seen angels,
But I have seen thee
And thou art enough.
~ by G. Moore ~

I love you - those three words have my life in them.
~ by Alexandrea to Nicholas III ~

I have been astonished that men could die martyrs for their religion -
I have shudder'd at it.
I shudder no more.
I could be martyr'd for my religion
Love is my religion
And I could die for that.
I could die for you.
~ by John Keats ~

To be in love is merely to be
In a state of perpetual anesthesia:
To mistake an ordinary young man for a Greek god
Or an ordinary young woman for a goddess.
~ by H.L. Mencken ~

To love a person is to learn the song
That is in their heart,
And to sing it to them
When they have forgotten.
~ by Anonymous ~

Did my heart love till now?
Forswear it sight,
For I ne'er saw true beauty till this night.
~ Romeo, Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare ~

I sought for Love
But Love ran away from me.
I sought my Soul
But my Soul I couldn't see.
Then I sought You,
And I found all three.

Here's my favorite love poem, which is actually a song by the Bangles:

"Close your eyes, give me your hand, darling.
Do you feel my heart beating?
Do you understand?
Do you feel the same?
Am I only dreaming
Or is this burning an eternal flame?"

Isn't that sweet? Susannah Hoffs sucks but I heard this gal do it at karaoke one night and she'd have broke your heart. Mine and Larry's "song" is "Still the One" (by Shania Twain, not that terrible 70's thing). That and "Body Bumpin' Yippee Yi Yo".
:lmao:

Vrai, Steve and I have a bunch of different songs, depending on "the mood". (not that kind of mood so everyone get their minds out of the gutter! :lmao: )

Here goes, (this list might get long!)

Neon Moon, Brookes and Dunn, just because it was the first song we ever danced to in the local "dive" in Hawaii.

Standing Outside the Fire, Garth Brooks, pretty much our motto in life. "life is not tried, it is merely survived when you're standing outside the fire"

Shameless, Garth Brookes, for when we kiss each other's arse to end a fight.

If you're gone, Matchbox 20, Steve's to me when he was in Saudi with too much time to think about "what if my wife wants to ditch me".

Bent, Matchbox 20, Mine for Steve when he was in Saudi, because I realized how much it did suck without him around.

Kiss the rain, Billie Myers, is our "off on travel" song.

Nothing else matters, Metallica, pretty much sums up our relationship as a whole. "life is ours, we live it our way"
