I had to slam on my brakes to avoid hitting 2 ducks in the road today. They were in the middle of the street, in the middle of a very large neighborhood. There are NO ponds/lakes around and they looked lost. :ohwell:

Dems, I can let you know where they were if you would like to rescue them. :dance:

The little guys are very, very lucky they didn't end up road kill. It was dark (5:30 a.m.) and they were on a curve, so I didn't see them until I was right up on them.

Aim for the head, less damage to the meat that way.

I know a guy who's wife hit a rabbit with her car. He was following her in his car. Saw her hit the rabbit. She ran over its head, missing the body completely. He took it home and ate it.

I got a nice deer that way one time. Saw a deer get hit by a tractor-trailer. One minute there were 2 headlights, then 1, then 2 again. Body was in pristine condition, head was about 1/2" thick. I stopped to move it out of the roadway when I discovered its condition. Boy was it tasty.

I say go for it. You could always PM Chasey for the location of the ducks and get your dinner for free...:shrug:
