Avian vets????

Does anyone know of any good avian vets in the St. Marys or Charles County area?

What's an Avian?

I kept seeing this thread pop up and I'm thinking WTF? Asian vets? I'm not interested in that....then DoWhat posts so I look to see what he's got to say and to my amazement it's about bird vets.

It's a bottle of water.

There are actually two in the area that my wife has used. There is Dr. Miller in Waldorf and the vet hosptial in Lexington Park (close to Exploration Drive). They both have avian services. Don't get Dr. Miller the vet confused with the pediatrics doc (Robert Miller), they are brothers.

She had been using Dr. Miller then switched to the vet in Lexington Park simply due to how close they were to where we live.

I did go with her to Dr. Miller's office and he is very good with the birds. He has either a gray or macaw there at the shop (can't recall which-it has been a few years since I was there).

I have not gone to the vet in Lex Park so I can't give a personal assessement, but my wife keeps taking the bird back, so I have to assume they are doing something right....
