South Beach worked for me. Fruit is only bad in the first phase which is only 2 weeks long. That is when you are only allowed 25 grams of net carbs per day. Your body has to get used to it's insulin resistance level. It is a great diet if you can handle switching from sugar to Splenda. I love Splenda and I'll never go back. It's really easy and u can eat as much as u want. The lbs literally melt off.
