I've eaten there twice and thought the food was awful both times. The first just mediocre (but not at those prices), and the second time it was just plain bad. You won't catch me wasting my money there again.

Never eaten there but I have a nice suit and should soon, too bad I am going to miss that menu.

Really??? I've only been there once and had the best chicken caesar salad I've ever had in my life. Second best caesar salad was the one with lump crab all over it at (what's that place called, turn by the VFW on the Hollywood access road and follow it down to the water?).

YUM!!! I haven't eaten since breakfast and I want a caesar salad and some Chambord creme brulee RIGHT NOW!!

I've got something better than that - Spinnakers! I went about 2 weeks ago for the first time. The service was outstanding, and the food devine!

Spinnaker's used to be my date restaurant of choice - "Where would you like to go?" "Spinnakers!"

But I haven't been there since Spin sold it. I'll have to make a trip next time I'm down :yay:

When Spin had the restaurant, it was incredibly delicious. But now it is so bad that I wouldn't waste my time to go there again. The last three times I was there, the service and the food was horrible. [I tried going back on two separate times even after my initial bad experience just to make sure it wasn't my imagination getting the best of me regarding the lousy food/service.]

I love Cafe des Artistes! The food is always excellent!!! Also, I just went to Nooks and Monks for the first time a few weeks ago. That was a really nice place - good food too!

I never went to the old Spinnakers, but the new place is very good.

Did Jazz Lady ever perform at Cafe des Artistes?

Same here. I went last summer and enjoyed it very much. :yay:

Not on your life. They want people to eat there, not run away in horror. But they do have jazz performers there, like Gretchen Ritchie, every so often. :yay:
