Wagon wheels:

The Amish have them...but they are not made for decoration and are not cheap.

I purchased a set of 4 last year (two will go for my cannon) and I have two spare...originals from the 1800's.

They are up for grabs at 90.00 a piece. Steel rim over wood frame & spokes, original gray patina-made for farm use.
I also have a pair of iron wagon wheels that came with the original gun...LOOK like wood but are all cast steel: 140.00 for the pair...never have to worry about termites!--Always look good.-Very heavy!

The decorative ones you buy for outside gardens will NOT last more than two years around here unless they are covered & sprayed for termites.

Sorry I don't have pictures but let me see what the prices were when I went shopping last year:

This is what you find on e-bay:

Mine are far more sturdy.

Or you could try:

(realism was not their strong point)

Thanks for the info H.

But the wife said "no", actually it was "HELL NO".

I guess she doesn't like my decorative side.

I thought it would look nice.
But we have a Tudar (whatever the hell that means) house.
Doesn't go with the flow.

I'll come up with something else (keep my mouth shut) and surprise her.

Whada ya think Pete? Good idea?

Dyson lumber in Great Mills has them. See J.C. if you want something different than they have out...

I think you should assert yourself as the man of the house and build your wagon wheel bench and display it prominently. As an additional show of manliness I would hang that "dogs playing pool" in the living room and the velvet Elvis in the bedroom :yay:
