Needing prayers

We have just found out my father in law could have cancer.
My husband has always been so very strong when a crisis arises and even after we have been married for 14 years I am not really sure on how to comfort him. He has gone to be with his dad and speak to doctors and because of my new job I was unable to be with him for support. If anyone has any information about cancer and family support I would really appreciate it and prayer for when he goes tomorrow for more test.Thank you

Where is the cancer? My dad passed from it last December. I'm well versed on lung cancer, bladder cancer, and brain cancer.

The tumor maybe laying on a ventrical and stopping blood flow and at this point they believe the cancer has spread and is in the lungs. Still going through test. My husband called to tell me his father and mother just now have started to disscuss it. Sunday there was no disscussing it.But now it seems they are in the stages of realization.
I just feel somewhat helpless. My husband always puts on a front and on the outside seems to put good but I know he is really hurting.
I am sorry to hear about your father. My father passed away in 91 and we were never close but I still miss him.

:huggy: I know what your going through. My dad was diagnosed in May with brain cancer. No cure, but he is having radiation done to hopefully further his time with us.. He now has a lung infection and were not sure if it has to do with the cancer yet. I wish you and your family the best of luck.

Well it has been confirmed my father inlaw has fast spreading cancer. They are going to go on with a cancer specialist and possible chemo. Does anyone know about chemo and empysema? I was told it was not possible to mix the two and now it seems they are going on with the chemo.

I want to thank everyone for the nice words and prayers. It is so hard to lose someone close to you and when it is family it is just that much harder.
