CSM is offering a pretty cool class in Calvert starting saturday that teaches guitarists of ages and skill levels how to Jam. This will be the second offering of the class. The first just completed on Dec. 3, 2006.
I attended their final recital which was essentially a 3 hour concert for friends and family. It was very interesting. There were guys ranging from 15 years-old up to grandfathers. Skills range from guys who could play some decent lead work to those just comfortable with playing second guitar.
It's a good opportunity for you wanna-be guitar greats to come out and get some experience playing with others. You might be amazed at how much you can learn. I'll be there

The class runs from Jan 13 - March 3 at the Prince Frederick Campus of CSM. The instructor is the guitarist from the local band called "The Nanjemoy Creek Boys."
