If you are looking at learning 3D modeling, I recommend something other than Blender. Though I have to admit that the latest versions are alot better and has alot more capability than the earlier versions, the one problem is that nobody that I know of in 3D modeling professionally uses Blender...

You could always mention that fact to the Center/Campus. At least they upgraded the webCT this year. There were alot of problems with the last version and even moreso because the instructors had to get used to it as well.
