I would think that 3 months is ok is its as good as they say it is...aside from oozing and rushes lol but I speed 130 every 6 weeks to get it colored so is you switched off everytime I problem wouldn't get it done all the time though just as a treat...unless you get addicted to it or something...

We have two dogs and two cats too. Both of our cats have the worst smelling poop ever but we just spray febreeze and open the window. Our dogs have gotten in trouble any time they go near the box. We do have big litter boxes and they are covered but no door. They constantly lick the cats butt...

I know you aren't asking me but...we just give our dogs one but it says one for every 10 pounds...our vet said you don't have to give more than two...BJ's has them really cheap. So for a dog weighing almost 100 pounds I'd say give two a day.cheap.
