How much do teachers make per day for SUMMER SCHOOL? Is that number $150.00 for each day of summer school correct? I would be curious to know if this is true. That seems like ALOT of money for a half days pay!!!:drool:

Also in private school 100%of the student body takes the SAT exam. In public school only a very small amount of students take the SATS. 4 year college is not pushed at Chopticon, they are told it's best to go to CSM even thought with some scholarships to 4 year universites its a better value...

The proof is in the pudding. When my child was in Chopticon 2 years ago she had a subs for the entire year of CM English. Her SAT scores have risen and she has subs only several times a year. A good teacher is worth their weight in gold but they are few and far between. And as for grading...

This is why my kids now go to private school. I think 3 days would be plenty but a week plus is harmfull to their education. But like you said the world needs garbage collecters and burger flippers...that's what public schools are known for.

How would the cops feel about a doctor or nurse giving "special" treatment to their family, example being bumping in line for a transplant ??? They could lose their job for that.
