What is the problem with an open southern border?

Americans already own the property on the Northern Side of the Border.... and we have a treaty with the Native Americans.... so we would be years in Congress straightening that out..... but it's a great idea... using imminent domain. :coffee:

What is the problem with an open southern border?

I'm sure the American landowners would love to plow the field we loaded with landmines.... Using explosives would not threaten any peace treaties???? :coffee:

Trump trial first day, Trump asleep: No Family Members Present

I couldn't watch the news.... the word "pecker" always makes me laugh.... I was so busy laughing I couldn't hear the news and then when I could get control of the laughing out loud, I was too busy holding it in to listen to what they were saying. It's the word... "pecker".... and all the...

What is the problem with an open southern border?

OK... now the practical side..... Along the border, American land owners have land that is located along the border... ON BOTH SIDES. If you fence it off, how do they use the land they own? If you leave it open... or if the owner elects to leave it open so they can use all their land...

    God's bloody contract...

Genesis 15:1 After this, the word of the Lord came to Abram in a vision: “Do not be afraid, Abram. I am your shield, your very great reward.” 2 But Abram said, “Sovereign Lord, what can you give me since I remain childless and the one who will inherit my estate is Eliezer of Damascus?”...

Genesis 14:1 At the time when Amraphel was king of Shinar, Arioch king of Ellasar, Kedorlaomer king of Elam and Tidal king of Goyim, 2 these kings went to war against Bera king of Sodom, Birsha king of Gomorrah, Shinab king of Admah, Shemeber king of Zeboyim, and the king of Bela (that is...

Was Sarai innocent or was she willing?

I didn't trust my kids to do the right thing until I taught them the difference between right and wrong. And then I still had to hire a babysitter to make sure they didn't do anything stupid.... oh why oh why did I trust that babysitter.... I don't have a clue. And who's to say what is right...

All of Canaan was given to Abram by God.

Genesis 13:1 So Abram went up from Egypt to the Negev, with his wife and everything he had, and Lot went with him. 2 Abram had become very wealthy in livestock and in silver and gold. 3 From the Negev he went from place to place until he came to Bethel, to the place between Bethel and Ai where...

Was Sarai innocent or was she willing?

Wow.... so many terrific comments. The Bible is the story about the Messiah, Who, in spite of being human, was a good man who did not sin.... unlike the family He came from. These are all examples of how nasty humans can be... given the choice. We're still only a few hundred years from the...

Was Sarai innocent or was she willing?

Abraham didn't kill Isaac... he was going to... but he didn't. According to the commentaries.... God tested Abraham.... but the sacrificial ram was there the whole time. I thought Saria should have stopped him.... or send someone else to watch him. Saria knew what a sleaze he was. If I...

Was Sarai innocent or was she willing?

Oh, I agree with you.... until you got to the calling God a sociopath... It wasn't God who pimped out his wife... it was Abram... human. God keeps trying to be good to humans.... but they just keep being human.... and men seem to be more human. Yes... the family of Jesus was indeed...

Genesis 12:10 Now there was a famine in the land, and Abram went down to Egypt to live there for a while because the famine was severe. 11 As he was about to enter Egypt, he said to his wife Sarai, “I know what a beautiful woman you are. 12 When the Egyptians see you, they will say, ‘This is his...

    Abram went... without question.

Genesis 12:1 The Lord had said to Abram, “Go from your country, your people and your father’s household to the land I will show you. 2 “I will make you into a great nation, and I will bless you; I will make your name great, and you will be a blessing. 3 I will bless those who bless you...
