    Southwinds in Lexington Park

It's off Willow's Road--away from the 'heart' of Lex Park. There are a few nice develoments down that way, towards Park Hall.

    Gory Halloween Dessert

I just saw this in a magazine, where instead of cutting the eggs in half, just cut one quarter out of it, so it looks like an eyelid. You only get half the servings than if you cut it in half, and then you have the quarter cut-outs to figure out what to do with, but the effect is great.

    Schibles Restaurant out of business?

I just called the restaurant phone number. Recording says they are 'closed for the winter' starting Oct. 1. Pizza night and some other special have moved to Monk's.

    Mammogram

I assume this is a routine, baseline mamo for you. Some people will tell you how painful it is, but I have had a half dozen or more and never experienced anything more than mild squeezing during the actual test. At St. Mary's Hospital, they are very efficient in the process and you can...

    Gone a Cruisen

Cruising with kids We took ours when they were teens, but not old enough to drink. They all had a wonderful time and it's their favorite choice for a vacation. They all got to know their way around the ship better than the adults. The waiters/room stewards really catered to them and they got...

Razor phone charger for the car...

We buy lots of cell phone accessories from cellphoneshop.com and have never been disappointed. Very cheap. Shipping is usually free if you spend $25 or more, but the stuff is so inexpensive, it's almost difficult to spend that much. Good luck.

    Cheapest Airfare?

Also, try sidestep.com. We have found our cheapest tickets there. They search almost all the airlines, nearby airports (if you chose that option). You will have to search southwest.com separately, which also has good deals if you get the ticket early enough. Good luck.

    Pregnant Guppies

A pet store should have a device that might help, if you don't want to risk losing all of the babies. We had a small 'tank within a tank' sort of thing that you put the mom-to-be in. It hangs on to the edge of the tank, but has slots on the bottom. Ideally, when she delivers, the babies slip...

Missing Elderly Man Found the REAL STORY

I'm still upset that he was missing in the first place. I know their residents who are not capable of being on their own wear a 'wander guard,' which causes the outside doors to lock when they approach. How did Mr. Biscoe get out in the first place?

    Mini DV Camcorders

We bought a Sony DVD movie camera and love it. It records directly onto a mini DVD, which you can then either play on your computer/TV, or edit and re-record onto a full size DVD. I like Pinacle for movie editing software, but have used others, too.

Tides Restaurant & Oyster Bar/were is the oysters and seafood choices or sides

Actually, Shawn (Sean) was a chef at the Lighthouse, if he's the one I'm thinking of . . . (Japanese mother?) He actually went to school for cooking and is very good. I don't expect he'll be at the Tides for long. It was just an immediate opportunity when the Lighthouse burned down.

    MySpace Appoints Security Officer

I know someone who does just that. She monitors her son's 'myspace.' If she sees something she isn't comfortable with, she manages to work something related into a conversation, and he gives her the story, all without him knowing she is watching him. So far everything she has questioned has...

The New Adventures of Old Christine

I'm right there with you, Ladylara. Anything she does is funny to me and I love this new show.
