If you don't mind me asking about how much did it cost? Just so I can get a rough estimate.

I just got a new shed put in and I really want electric service out to it. I don't know how to get it there from the house. Is it possible? Does anyone know of a good electrician in the Lusby area or one that would travel to Lusby?

Currently I have a 7" step with 1" of 5/4 board on the tread...can I have an open riser according to the code? I am confused by this 4" sphere thing.

I am finished building my new deck and I have a question about the riser height in Calvert County. I want to go with an open riser and the code states that a 4" sphere cannot pass through the riser. Does this mean that it has to be a 4" step? That seems really short to me. I am not carpenter...

I totally forgot to mention! It's an I/O engine. The rear of the boat seemed to sit a little low in the water from what I'm used to but then again it's the first I/O I've been on.

But is 280hp too much? On the transom it says don't go over 225hp. I'm also thinking about price, don't smaller engines cost less? Or is it not that big of a difference so don't worry about it?

Sorry it's already in the shop, the mechanic just wanted to know if I wanted the same size engine, but that seems entirely too large for the boat.

I just bought a 25' maxum cuddy cabin. I have to take out the old engine either rebuild or put in a new one. I have found out that the old engine is actually 280hp, my boat is only rated for 225hp. I'm not really inerested in going that fast....just to get out to the major fishing spots and...

Moble Marine has given me a quote of $150 for the service call and $75 per hour....does that sound reasonable for Mobile Marine repairs? I've never had my boat serviced by someone else.
