One of the key themes of the fair is judging of farm products such as animals, produce and derivative foods. Items are submitted just before the fair opens, judged and then kept on display for the general public.

There's always plenty of food on hand. The selections range from hot dogs, hamburger and italian sausages to ice cream and funnel cakes.

Another good part of the fair is all of the good food that is available. Hot roasted peanuts are always a favorite of many people.
