I saw this story being reported in various outlets. Not sure what to make of this anonymous Dem congressional aide's anti-AOC "accusation."
On one hand, could very well be true. And, to be fair, could be said about a myriad of other politicians (both Left & Right). It will be interesting to see if that's how her district sees it (in the next election).
On the other hand, this seems to me to be all about internal Party machinations/maneuvers. Whether short-term (i.e., getting her on board with the current Dem agenda) or long-term (getting her primaried) or both. Can't help but wonder if the extra-Party and intra-Party "attacks" have given some within the Democrat Party a sense that she is vulnerable and now is the time to start the drip, drip of anti-AOC leaks. Especially since it comes on the heels of what some observers have remarked on what seems was an AOC pivot along lines of less controversial posturing in order to consolidate her position and/or launch an effort to higher office.
In the end, hmmm.
