I've been sooooooo good about not posting this. I am sooooooo happy for you. You're going to be a wonderful father!

Welcome to prison. It's a life sentence.
From this point forward, every waking and sleeping moment will be solely in the service of that child. It (he/she) is your warden.
You will do things you never thought you would do before.
You will suffer pains and cry tears of joy.
You will handle the nastiest, most vile clean up jobs ever.
And you will do it happily.
You will screw up, make mistakes, and learn to say "I'm sorry" and mean it.
You will learn that a kiss can heal just about everything.
You will go to bed some night and cry.
You will go to bed other nights with a beautiful bundle of life snugly wrapped in your arms and it will provide you with more peace than you ever knew existed.
After all the pain and suffering, you will be able to look at what you sculpted out of nothing. You will see an almost finished product and you will feel a great sense of pride in your accomplishment.
And when you are old and grey, you will find out, that even then, that almost finished sculpture, gives you the greatest sense of peace and love with every hug and then you will know what Heaven is like.
