Authorities say a 21-year-old Des Plaines man this week broke into the home of man dating his ex-girlfriend and beat him with a 10-pound dumbbell.

Nicholas Ungureanu, 21, of the 2000 block of Touhy Avenue, was charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon and home invasion. Cook County Sheriff’s police are seeking an accomplice in the case, said spokeswoman Sophia Ansari.

Misfit, honestly i don't think you want to get hit in the head or anywhere with a 10 pound dumbell. He could have been a real weakling and used an 8 pound sledge hammer. Even though i wouldn't want to get hit with one of those either.

Those 10 lb weights would effn hurt and could do some serious damage.
