Comet

hurricane

It's 5 O'clock somewhere!
Brrrrrrrrrrrrrr, I couldn't see it, might be behind some trees.

A pic a friend of mine up in MA sent me. Has his own mini-observatory.

Comet 17P/holmes provides an awesome view in the scope. I been out 3 nights so far looking at it.

For those of you interested, look towards the northeast sky, about 40 degrees up from the horizon (make a fist, each fist width is about 10 deg.) and below Cassiopeia in the constellation Perseus (It forms a nearly equalateral triangle with two of the brightest stars in Perseus, one being Mirphak). In binoculars it looks like a large fuzzy ball compared to the bright points of the stars. In a telescope it looks like the large multi-illuminated ball in the previous picture.
