Don't miss out on a great day of biking through beautiful Western Charles County! Riders age 16 and older are invited to join us on Saturday, May 19, 7:30 a.m. -3 p.m., for a scenic ride beginning at Nanjemoy Community Center. The Center is located at 4375 Port Tobacco Road in Nanjemoy. Resident Fee: $25; Non-Resident: $27; add $5 if registering on the day of the event. Pre-registration is strongly recommended. Lunch will be provided.

We'll start the day at the "end of the road" in scenic Nanjemoy, and enjoy a ride with stops at local points of interest. The western section of Charles County will delight you with its sense of serenity and history. Each route for the Heritage Bike Ride begins and ends at the Nanjemoy Community Center. Three recreational routes to choose from: 100K, 50K, or 25K. Charles County believes safety is a top priority; helmets are required for all riders.

Online registration is available at Charles County Government, or you may download a registration form at Untitled Document. For registration information or directions, call the Nanjemoy Community Center at 301-246-9612.

ABATE's Blessing of the Bikes is on the same day over at the VFW. Not sure about the time but usually around 1pm and it's FREE.

That one doesn't work. Got my bike blessed there a few years ago and it still kept slowing down every time it saw a good looking girl. Kept going to bars also.

I had the same problem. What cured it though, was a big knot that suddenly developed on the back of my head.
