Nevada
Animal Details
55099- Nevada is a yellow female Labrador Retriever mix. She is approximately 4 years old. She has been spayed. Nevada is a very shy and timid girl. She wants to trust but seems to have issues with men. She is very sweet and quiet dog and once she is comfortable she comes out of her shell. Nevada will need to be in a home with experienced dog owners and no children under the age of 15. Nevada has been bounced around alot and needs consistancy and paitence to thrive. She did well with our temperment test with other dogs and would be a good companion to another dog. She wants to be given another chance at life and needs your help to do so. Please open your heart and your home to this needy dog.
Yuki
Animal Details
54125 - Hi! My name is ~Yuki! I am a white/grey male kitten at about 9wks of age. I am a shy little boy with a quiet voice. I love to play and climb up tall cat gyms. Cuddling really isn't my thing; I would rather play all day with a nice pet now and then. I absolutely LOVE other cats/kittens and like to nuzzle, play, and cuddle with them all the time. I'm curious, cute, playful, and I don't mind snuggling up on your bed for a nap. I would do well in a quiet home with lots of space to explore. I'm looking for loving owners who will take it slow with me and give me lots of needed attention. ~~~~My name is Japanese meaning "snow" (pronounced You-key). For more info please contact Colleen Lok at the shelter or at 301-579-6454 or kittyfosters@gmail.com

Oz
Adopt a American Bulldog: Oz: Petfinder
Oz was named after the "Wizard of Oz", we wanted to make sure the rest of his life is in pure technicolor... Well, we should have named him "Wizard" instead, as this guy knows where his home and his people are and he can scale the new 6' fence in less than 5 minutes to make sure he's back in the house n their presence before they even have time to get a cold drink out of the frig....
Oz appears to have been an inside dog at one point as he's pretty good with his house manners. He needs some fine tuning, but that could be due to the shear number of dogs that have come through his foster home the last couple of years.
Oz is crate trained and goes in there without a problem, he gets along with most of the dogs he has met and that will probably only get better once he gets neutered in the next week or so.
Won't you please call to come meet him? He's love to curl up next to you to watch a movie while "there's no place like home" running through his head!
Sam
Adopt a Labrador Retriever: Sam: Petfinder
Sam is a courtesy post, please contact Kristen at Ksoap1@yahoo.com to meet this awesome dog! Sam is a wonderful Lab mix that is looking for a new home with an active lifestyle. Sam's current family travels too much and he finds himself with too much time on his hands. At 1 1/2 years old, he is looking for a home that can walk and play with him, keeping him mentally and physically active.
Sam is current on all his vetting (shots, neutered and heartworm negative), so he is ready to come home with you now.
With Sam's energy level he shouldn't live in a home with small children as he might run them over and he should probably be the only dog in the home as well.
If you are looking for an active friend, please contact Kristen today and let Sam share all his love with you! Ksoap1@yahoo.com
