Adopt a Siamese: Silas: Petfinder
What a regal fella I am! I am a 5 yr old Seal Point named Silas and I don't have a shy bone in my body. I warm up very quickly and love to carry on conversations. If I am sad....you will know it, if I am happy...you will know it, if I need anything...you will know it. My foster meowm says I am the most talkative Meezer in the bunch! What can I say? When I love my humans...I want to let them know it! I had a few trust issues at first after being with my family for 5 yrs and suddenly waking up in the kill shelter. Thanks to the nice humans at Second Hope Rescue, I was saved just in the nick of time! Now I know that I can trust a few humans again....are you one I can trust? Foster meowm says I will really blossom in my new furrever home!

Check me out! I am a Seal Tortie Point that just arrived at my foster home from the local kill shelter. Whew....that was close! Even though my previous owners told the shelter that I was great with small children and other animals....even birds....they still surrendered me because they suddenly developed allergies. I am still being evaluated, but my foster humans say that I am EXTREMELY affectionate! I even know how to give hugs! I'll tell you more about me later.....right now I am just getting settled in.
Lilli
Adopt a American Bulldog: Lilli: Petfinder
Lilli.... just like spring time and the beginning of summer indicates new life, that's what Lilli is looking for, a new life, with owners that will love her for her loving personality and will keep her safe.
Lilli found herself in the local shelter after being confiscated from bad breeders that were breeding for fighting. Lilli had a few litters and after being picked up, the owner didn't want her back.
Lilli had puppies shortly after coming to the shelter but unfortunately all the puppies died before they could be released into rescue. After that the shelter kept Lilli as she has such a sweet soul. Lilli was in the shelter from Thanksgiving until the first week of April, that's a testament to how much the shelter thought of this loving pit bull.
Thanks to the recommendations from the caring employees at the shelter this rescue took Lilli into our care. She has bloomed since being here and it's so obvious, all she wants is love. Lilli needs some training as she's very raw, but after the way she started out her life and then spending that many months in the shelter, she deserves to be a little wild.
Lilli gets along with all the dogs she has met but probably shouldn't be around cats or very small kids (purely due to her joy in living).
Please contact us for an application and come meet this sweet Lilli - let love bloom forever in her life!
Shelby
Adopt a Pit Bull Terrier: Shelby: Petfinder
My name is Shelby and I'm about 11 months old. I really need to find a new home and am hoping since you are reading this that you might be considering adopting me!
I'm really good with kids and I get along great with other dogs as well. I'm house and crate trained, so I'm pretty easy to take care of.
I was in a shelter that won't adopt pit bull mixes to the public but luckily thought I was sweet enough to save. Personally I think you should take a chance on meeting me so you can see for yourself!
Cheif
Adopt a Pit Bull Terrier: Chief (aka Meaty): Petfinder
This handsome dog is Chief, to see him is to love him, to meet him... well, to meet him is to really love him!
Chief is about 10 months old and weighs about 67 lbs. He's house trained, and is doing good on his crate training. Chief gets along great with other dogs and kids as well. He is quite active, and loves jogging, long walks, hiking, and he even pulls his foster Dad on his skateboard!
Chief was saved from the shelter by a rescuer that just couldn't help but save him, he just has that effect on you!
Chief has been neutered, is microchipped and UTD w/ shots. He is available to meet you and is searching for his forever home! Please email us today to take a chance on meeting this wonderful boy!
