Daniel Stewart resides in Andalusia Spain and has been coaching current and future prospects of the U.S. Riding Team since 1999. Most recently he coached the US team at the World Equestrian Games in Spain, World Endurance Championships in Dubai UAE and the 2004 Athens games in Greece. Prior to becoming a US coach he taught and competed around the world including Canada, Mexico and Europe. He speaks French and Spanish, has a degree in Exercise Science and Psychology and has worked as sport psychology consultant to many national riding teams including Portugal and Canada. Author of Ride Right, Daniel teaches clinics and seminars to thousands of riders each year and is widely considered one of the worlds leading authorities on equestrian biomechanics, conditioning and sport psychology.

Two great clinics that allow riders to identify and solve imperfections in their position by allowing them to see themselves on video. When an imperfection is identified, Coach Stewart explains its cause and describes its solution using the latest techniques. After the analysis the participants are able to immediately start improving their position by riding in an hour-long follow-up lesson.

:: Equitation and Symmetry Analysis
This video clinic helps riders identify ways to improve their position on the flat. Does your leg swing at the canter, do you have difficulty sitting the trot, do you put more weight in one stirrup or seat bone, sit crooked or have one leg that works better? If so, this clinic helps you identify the causes, and more importantly the solutions!

:: Jumping Position Analysis
This video clinic allows you to watch yourself jumping and identify ways to improve your position. It’s a great way to learn new techniques to perfect your approach, take-off, jumping position, landing and exit. You’ll also have to opportunity to see and analyze your position at the posting trot, two-point and canter. Video Clinics (select one) consist of:

60-minute riding session to videotape your position.
45-minute lecture on the causes and solution of common riding problems.
60-minute analysis of your video to identify ways to improve your position.
90-minute follow-up lesson to improve any imperfections found in your video.

Dinner will be provided when Coach Stewart gives his Sport Psychology Seminar. Special pricing for PC members and their family members. Open to the public.

Zoooooooom
A friend of mine has ridden with him before and she said it was great! She talked about an exercise where he had cones set up and the person had to close their eyes and attempt to ride straight. The first time was apparently a disaster for most riders, but after being "fixed" they could feel the straight line.

Riding with him was highly recommended. Just thought I'd pass this along to anyone who was contemplating riding/participating in the clinic.

That's all well and good, but, bottom line, Changling wants to know if he's straight, single and cute?:howdy:There are a ton of good trainers around but it's hard to find one who fits all the criteria!:whistle: Before we expend the time and money to bring one to our barn we want to be sure it's a wise investment!:buddies:
