The Patuxent Playhouse of Calvert County, Maryland is pleased to present local playwright Ken Garvin’s newest musical production, THE MOMENT.
The Moment is an original new musical about the challenges of “Peer Pressure” on both the young and the not-quite so young. It tells the story of Aaron/A.K.A, "The Professor" and his Dad, Charlie. Both have dreams, both have desires, but both have distracters who desperately try to pull them off the proven path to success.
The Moment features 15 new songs along with a tremendous cast of talented students from Great Mills, Chopticon, Patuxent, Calvert and Huntingtown High Schools as well as veteran actors from several local theater groups.
The musical is also enhanced by the choreography of Gracie Myles and her son Justin Myles, currently a cast member of the OFF-Broadway Production of STOMP!
